- I am trying to setup a small cheap ISP. I need information on what is the
- best way to have multiple (8-16) modems controlled from a pc running
- linux. Is the best route a modem rack, I heard the average price
- per modem will be ~$400.
- I was told I can use a digiboard which has 16 serial ports on it and
- buy external 28.8 modems which are ~$100 for the modem and 60$ for
- each serial port. This way though I won't have control over
- the modems remotly for diagnostics or power cycling
-
- Any suggestions guys.

- Thanks
